Car park markings
Car park markings and line marking done properly: parking bays, disabled bays, directional arrows, walkways and access lines, so the areas around your buildings work and stay safe.
What are car park markings?
Line marking is the practical setout of a car park or site, bays, walkways, access lanes, hatching and disabled bays, applied in durable thermoplastic, MMA cold plastic or line paint to suit the traffic. It keeps the areas around a school or building organised and safe, separating cars from people and making the most of the parking you have. We mark bays to sensible dimensions, add pedestrian walkways and crossing points, and lay the statutory yellow lines and disabled bays where they are needed, so drop-off, staff parking and deliveries all flow. It is part of the commercial line-marking work we carry out for car parks and sites across the UK.
Why choose Uniplay for car park markings?
Order in the car park
Clear bays and lanes get more cars into the same space and keep them moving, which matters most at the pinch of drop-off and pick-up.
Cars and people kept apart
Marked walkways and crossing points give pedestrians a safe route through the car park, separating them from moving vehicles at the busiest times.
Hard-wearing under traffic
Thermoplastic bay and line markings take vehicle weight and turning far better than ordinary paint, so they stay crisp for years.

How do we install car park markings?
Survey, design, install and aftercare, and most of it is ours to do.
- 01
Survey
We measure the car park or site, note the entrance, flow and any constraints, and work out the layout that gets the most usable, safe parking from the space.
- 02
Design
We set out the bays, walkways, disabled bays and lines on a plan, so you can approve the arrangement before anything is marked.
- 03
Install
We prep the surface and apply the thermoplastic to the setout, working to fit around access to the site and keep disruption low.
- 04
Aftercare
The markings take traffic once cured. We can refresh worn lines, remark after resurfacing or adjust the layout on a return visit.
What do car park markings cost?
Car park and line marking work is priced per site after a free survey. The figure depends on the number of bays, arrows and lines, the material and the state of the surface, so we survey the car park and send a detailed quote, with no hidden costs and our price match promise.
Prices exclude VAT
Payment terms and any site-dependent charges, for example an aborted visit or extra cleaning, are set out in our terms.

Car park markings: your questions answered
Do you mark disabled parking bays to the correct size?
Yes. We mark accessible bays to the recommended dimensions with the wheelchair symbol and the access hatching alongside, so they are usable and clearly reserved. We confirm the number and position with you at survey and set them where they best serve your entrance.
What are car park and line markings made from?
For car parks and site lines we work in durable thermoplastic, MMA cold plastic and line paint, matched to the traffic and the finish you need. Thermoplastic and MMA take vehicle weight and turning far better than paint and hold their line for years, while paint suits lighter-use or short-term layouts. We advise on the best material at survey and send a detailed quote.
Can you remark our car park after resurfacing?
Yes. Resurfacing wipes the old layout, so we set the bays and lines out fresh once the new surface has cured. We can reproduce the previous layout or improve on it while the slate is clean, and we work out of hours to keep the car park usable.
