Paul Riley

Founder

Paul is our MD, Founder and all round Playground Markings guru. Paul founded Uniplay back in 2008 after seeing a gap in the market to create innovative graphics that pushed the boundaries of thermoplastic design. Having worked as an install team leader for many years, there was very little he didn’t know about the installation aspect of thermoplastic and wanted to use this knowledge to create graphics that were not only inspirational but also looked amazing….Uniplay was born! Paul has remained the driving force behind the growth of Uniplay and still very much has a hands-on approach. He is often out and about meeting schools and surveying playgrounds and still gets drafted in to install when needed…although he’s reluctant to tell anyone he’s just met he is in fact the boss! Over the years Uniplay have done many fundraising drives for a variety of charities, these are usually Paul’s idea. He is always the instigator into new ways to raise money for charity and not afraid to chuck himself out of a plane or climb mountains to do it. When he’s not fine tuning the Uniplay operation, he’s busy running around after his 3 children, trying to convince them to support his beloved Burnley FC, and going on family breaks.

Victoria Walmsley

Sales & Marketing Director

Victoria is our Sales & Marketing Director, co-owner, and incredibly proud to be part of Team Uniplay. Having worked with Uniplay since the very beginning and becoming a fully fledged full time member of the team over 8 years ago, Victoria is passionate about everything Uniplay. Her wealth of knowledge and experience with all things thermoplastic makes her the main point of contact for information and advice for both colleagues and customers alike. Within UniPlay she's responsible for everything sales and marketing, and fielding a huge amount of questions,  from the sublime to the ridiculous! Victoria aims to keep the team working in harmony, always striving for the next goal and having fun along the way. When not in work, Victoria is usually attempting to keep up with her two daughters demands, catching live music or following her beloved Blackburn Rovers (much to the delight of the Uniplay Burnley contingent)

Michael Jarvie

Operations Director

Mike is our Operations Director and co-owner with masses of industry knowledge, there is very rarely a thermoplastic query he can't resolve. With over 16 years experience in the playground markings industry, you can rest assured the advice and recommendations Mike offers are backed by his in-depth knowledge. His experience in not only playground design, but installation makes him the go-to member of the team for any technical question. Mike takes care of all of our production and operations processes, and keeps our fantastic installation teams in check. Mike is always one for banter in the office with his quick wit, and when that fails, he may bring out his 'Cheshire charm'!

Nici Elliot

HR Manager

Nici is our HR Manager and has been part of #TeamUniplay for several years. Nici has brought a sense of calm and order to the Uniplay office. Despite living in Lancashire for 14 years she is still perplexed by some of the local lingo! Keeping us on the straight and narrow and making sure we’re all looked after, Nici is always there to help and advise all members of our team. When Nici isn’t keeping us in line, she’s having fun with her two young children, as well as catching up with friends and regular trips back to see family in Scotland.

Dave Hill

Contracts Manager

Dave has been working in the Outdoor Play industry for many years and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Uniplay team. Looking after the installation side of the business and managing our installation teams, Dave is cool and calm and always has a solution to any problem.

Ellie Goodison

Account Co-ordinator

Ellie is the youngest member of the Uniplay Team and has recently joined us as a Customer Service Apprentice. Polite, helpful and a pleasure to work with, Ellie is a great addition to our team.

Bradley Hoole

Graphic Designer

Kevin Ramsden

Production & Warehouse

Kevin knows the Uniplay production process inside out! An avid Manchester City season ticket holder, Kevin travels the length and breadth of the country overseeing our installation teams (and following City!) and ensuring every project is completed to the Uniplay standard. The keen fisherman is a stickler for detail and is constantly looking at ways to improve our operation. Kevin is happiest when he’s onsite or surveying playgrounds. He enjoys chatting with customers and hearing the feedback for our installation guys. When not working, Kevin will be at home chasing around the garden after his young son.

John Duerden

Installer/Warehouse

John is a thermoplastic professional with over 15 years experience of creating playground markings. John is predominantly in our warehouse, ensuring jobs are cut and packed for our installation teams. During peak times John likes to dust off his high vis and can often be found joining the installation teams.
