Jungle Phonics is a thermoplastic playground marking of a jungle scene ringed by a green vine, with a monkey, an elephant and a lion among the leaves and a scatter of grey paw-print circles each carrying a phoneme such as ow, oi, ai, ch, ng, ar and sh. The marking measures 5.4m by 4.1m. Children step between the sounds to blend and read words while they move.
