Team Uniplay: Contracts Manager

Due to continued expansion we’re on the look at for a talented Contracts Manager who can come and join our fast-paced team.

The Contracts Manager will liaise with customers and will work alongside our Sales and production teams to ensure our busy schedule of projects are delivered efficiently, safely and to a high standard, ensuring Uniplay standards exceed the customers’ expectations.

Previous experience in a similar role, would be beneficial although training will be provided to ensure the successful candidate gets off to a flying start.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Be the first point of contact for our Installation Team Leaders and Clients for as long as the projects lasts.

Project management of larger installations, making sure regular liaison with customer and ensuring maintenance of the scheduled installation.

Provide support to sales team to oversee timings etc

Undertake pre-contract and project sign-off meetings with client where required.

Liaise with the installation teams, making regular visits to site to monitor progress and resolve on site issues as arise.

Responsibility for the completion of quality, risk, H&S and housekeeping/welfare assessments with installers whilst on site, ensuring that procedures are followed. Ensuring that the installation teams work in a safe environment and promote site safety at every opportunity

Training sales teams and subcontractors to ensure they are proficient.

 

Skills/Experience required:

To succeed in this role, the successful candidate must be customer focused and will demonstrate a keen eye for detail.  You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a ‘right first time’ approach.  You must have good communication skills, be self-motivated as well as working with our fantastic team.

A ‘hands-on’ approach, flexibility and ‘can do’ attitude are essential.

The ideal candidate will also have:

Project management experience

Proven skills to supervise teams

Experience of risk assessments, H&S and quality inspections

Knowledge of groundworks & tarmac

Must have good knowledge of Microsoft packages – Word/Excel/Outlook

Excellent customer service skills

Able to work on own initiative or with others on tasks with minimum supervision

Must have clean valid driving licence

Ideally located in the North West

A DBS check will be processed as part of the induction process.  This is a permanent, full time position.
