Removal of Playground Markings
Uniplay are pleased to offer a comprehensive playground marking removals and playground cleaning service.
We use a number of methods to clean the tarmac surface of your playground and remove existing thermoplastic or painted playground markings. Removing your existing markings is the best way to ensure your new thermoplastic graphics look great and adhere to your surface.
The results of the removals process often depends on the quality of your ground.
Our UHP water removals are all carried out by our own teams to ensure the best possible results. The UHP Water intensively cleans your playground removing all debris and dirt from the tarmac. This can leave a slight scaring effect on the surface as the area where your old markings have been removed have been extensively cleaned. Over time, this area will become built up once more with outdoor debris.
Sand Jet Removal
Uniplay use a low pressure, low consumption sand jetting system that is used nationwide for property restoration. Sand Jet is ideal for environmentally sensitive areas or on delicate or textured surfaces.
Our Sand Jet playground marking removals system removes white line materials, paint and thermoplastic from tarmac, concrete, stone and block paved areas. Sand Jet cleans without the use of heat so can safely be used on all surfaces. Heavily marked or textured surfaces can be cleaned, however the process time is increased.
Our Sand Jet system is environmentally friendly with no fumes or toxic waste. Sand Jet requires the surface to be cleaned after the process has been completed, a service we include with the removals cost.
Ultra-High Pressure Water
Uniplay use Ultra High Pressure Water Jetting allowing rapid cleaning and surface preparation to be carried out without needing to clean up additional waste from abrasives. UHP Water is cost effective for large playground areas and the removal of thermoplastic.
UHP Water removal is a rather quick process and keeps noise and disruption to a minimum.
UHP Water removal requires a good water supply to the site, an ordinary household tap and mains pressure is adequate.
Drive on access to the playground is required for this removal process.
UHP Water is environmentally friendly and requires less clean up time helping to make the process more cost effective.
